📡 Deeper Sonar Range Extension Service

💡 What do you get?

A SERVICE consisting of flashing custom firmware onto your TP-Link router, which increases your Deeper sonar’s range by 200-300m+ (depending on weather conditions and wave size).

⚠️ IMPORTANT: This is NOT a standard router setup! I flash custom firmware written by me, which stabilises the WiFi connection over long distances and prevents disconnections.

✅ BEST: Archer C60 (v1, v2, v3)

• 💰 Router cost: ~PLN 80-120 (used) | ~PLN 150-200 (new)

✅ Archer C6 (v1, v2, v3.2)

• ✅ 2 active WiFi antennas
• ✅ Range +200-250m (slightly weaker than C60)
• ⚠️ ATTENTION! Version v4.0 IS NOT SUITABLE – it has reduced radio sensitivity!
• 💰 Router cost: ~PLN 70-100 (used) | ~PLN 130-180 (new)

✅ TL-WDR4300 (all versions)

• ✅ Older model, but proven
• ✅ Range +200-250m
• 💰 Router cost: ~PLN 50-80 (used)

✅ TL-WR1043ND (all versions)

• ✅ Popular model, easy to acquire
• ✅ Range +200m+
• 💰 Router cost: ~PLN 40-70 (used)

🛒 Where to buy a router?

Preferably on OLX, Allegro, or Facebook Marketplace – look for used routers (cheaper and work just as well).

⚠️ Check the hardware version before purchasing!

• Archer C6: only v1, v2, v3.2 (NOT v4.0!)
• Archer C60: v1, v2, v3

📦 How does it work?

1. 📮 You send the router to me (or bring it in person to Mikołów)
2. 🔧 I flash the custom firmware (1-2 days)
3. 📦 I send back the ready router (via InPost locker)
4. ✅ You connect the Deeper and the bait boat – done!

💰 Service cost:

• PLN 179 – firmware flashing service + return shipping via InPost locker A
• + router (you buy it yourself ~PLN 40-200 depending on the model)

🔄 Return to original firmware?

✅ YES, it’s possible!

• Cost: PLN 39 + InPost locker A shipping
• I restore the original TP-Link firmware

🎣 Mounting the Deeper on your bait boat:

⚠️ IMPORTANT mounting rules:

• ✅ The Deeper must be towed behind the bait boat (not at the front!)
• ✅ You can use braided line or a special mount
• ✅ Buoyancy foam is MANDATORY! – the Deeper should be as high as possible above the water surface
• ✅ Only the sensors should touch the water – the Deeper’s body should be above the water
• ✅ The higher above the water – the better the WiFi range

📏 Achievable range:

• ✅ Archer C60: 250-300m+ (best)
• ✅ Archer C6: 200-250m
• ✅ WDR4300 / WR1043ND: 200m+
• ⚠️ Range depends on: weather conditions, wave size, Deeper mounting.
